Programme for Gifted High School Pupils
Since 1965 the
Vietnamese Government has appointed the University the task of for
steering and training talented students at the level of high
school. So far, there have been 5 subjects offered at the
University.

students enroll annually. The University offers 21 undergraduate
programmes for B.Sc.
Part-time:
about 1000 students enroll annually. These programs normally last
5 years for those who have obtained a high school certificatem and
3 years for those who have obtained an associate bachelor degree
in the same field, or a bachelor degree in a related one.
Honour
Programme for Talented B.Sc.: To meet the demand for training
and fostering talented people in natural sciences for the country,
every year approx. 40 outstanding students enroll in the following
disciplines: Mathematics, Mechanics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
Meteorology, Hydrology, Oceanography, Geology, and Geography. This
training programme has attracted a large number of excellent
students throughout the country, of whom many students have gained
high prizes at national and international competitions.
