center was founded on 3rd Aug, 2001.
Research activities: - Molecular characterization of oxidative stress of some pathogenic Bacteria. - Action mechanims of recombinant DNA technologies for production of some enzymes/proteins, that have a wide application in molecular biology and biomedical research. - Development of recombinant DNA technologies for production of some enzymes/proteins, that have a wide application in molecular biology and biomedical research. - Determination of species and individual diversity by using molecular biology techniques. - Application of germ cell technology of domestic animals for development of biotechnology in husbandry and veterinary. - Development of plant and cell tissue technology for improvement of some fruit and crop varieties. - Study on genetic polymorphism of some enzyme systems (esterase, lactate dehydrogenase...) from animal species. - Molecular characterization of crop plant pathogenicity of some termites. - Isolation and characterization of naturally occurring bioactive compounds for early diagnosis of some cancer and infectious diseases. - Development of biomedical kits for diagnosis and treatment of some cancerous diseases. - Development of microbial fermentation technologies for useful microbial Products.
