Research activities:

- The Petrochemical Center was established in 1994, and was equipped with several instruments funded by an OPEC loan.

- The Center's function is to participate in education, training, research and service in the fields of Chemistry, Petroleum Chemistry and other related sciences. Activities are focused on the fields of Petrochemistry, Petrochemistry Catlysis, Petrochemical Analysis, Safety and Environmental Protection in the Petroleum Industry, Waste Gas Treadment, etc.
